I have been knocking around the world as a commercial pilot bush pilot, crop duster, and adventurer since 1969.
In between flying jobs, I have been a writer, smuggler, medic, salesman, bartender, and dedicated student of the human and other species.
I guess instead of being a specialist, I could be classified as a generalist. I know a little bit about a lot of things, a whole lot about a few things, and not nearly enough about a bunch more.
I have lived in South America, Europe, Africa and The West Indies and have traveled extensively in the USA. Sadly, Post Polio Syndrome forced me into early retirement. If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have planned better for retirement. The truth is that people like me never really retire. They just find new ways to make a living and amuse themselves. Now I spend my time teaching the art of currency trading , fishing, cooking yummy gourmet stuff, making great beer, and generally being a public nuisance.
